Description
The data was collected for a MSc research focusing on macro-moth assemblages in different types of lowland forests in Fiji. The collection of macro-moths were carried out using mercury vapour light traps and manual collection off a standard 2m*2m white sheet was employed. The collection was done in October of 2012.
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 118 records.

Collection was carried out in Savura, Colo-i-Suva and Mt. Korobaba. All three forests sites fall within the south eastern part of Fiji's largest Island, Viti Levu.

The light trapping was carried out for four nights in different habitat types (slope, ridge and flat) across three different types (native forest, exotic forest and mixed forest) of lowland forests in Fiji. The collection of macro-moths were carried out using mercury vapour light traps and manual collection off a standard 2m*2m white sheet was employed. The collection was done in October of 2012.
