Description

The data is based on a programme of light trapping using a battery powered trap employing an actinic tube light source. Trapping took place at a number of forest locations in eastern Viti Levu, and one coastal location in Cakaudrove in Vanua Levu. The main programme took place between 1992 and 1998, with a few records from more recent visits. This programme resulted in a collection of about 4,700 specimens. Work is continuing on the collection, with small numbers of additional records being added as new identifications are made. 14 new species have so far been described.

Data Records

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 2,968 records.

This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Versions

The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.
