Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 15 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Project Data
A "nanai" campaign was run on the month of September of 2017 increasing awareness about our unique and endemic cicada; Raiateana knowlesi, that emerges once every 8 years. This species is known from only a handful of locations within the Namosi and Navosa Province. A competition was developed through the NatureFiji-MareqetiViti (NFMV) website to help collect additional information of emergence from the public with the hopes that we could confirm original distributional information as well as include any new credible information of their distribution/emergence. The competition required that certain information was recorded and that a picture was uploaded to help confirm the species and presence.
